“Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.” Buddha.
It is not wise to blindly follow any advise on the web.

Yes pspa I think what your saying makes total sense. I wish you a speedy recovery. Gigalos, Balto is absolutely right you have to put what you are told to the test to make sure it is right. There is a lot of inaccurate advice out there even from professionals, so it is just up to us to see if it makes sense. No one is forcing anyone to do anything they don't want to. If your part of the forum, you should expect to see everything on here across the board. Like Andy said, lets put this thread to rest. |

As I don't want to repress anything, I feel I have to reply; it is what TMS taught me.
I couldn't agree more with you and Balto. BUT... that does not implicate that we should not be reserved to a certain degree in our replies also, because there are people who may not understand this principle, who are just so desperate that they cling to anyone who sounds persuasive enough or just aren't used to take responsibility for their own decisions.
okay, that's all, you don't have to agree with me on this as anyone has the right to communicate in the way he/she finds appropriate, just wanted to vent my opinion... hey, my back feels slightly better, it worked |
