aaaahhhhh, is this not a little bit of happiness on a down day.
(not sure what a homemade lollie even IS! don't think we have those here, but "raspberry ripple" sounds delightful and refreshing!)
Shame you're so far away else we'd cook, drink wine, feast and talk till the sun rose.
Sending you much cosmic and human love x |

Doesn't it just. How are your herbs? My basil plant is so thirsty. Never known a plant need so much water.
Growing herbs, and running your hands through the leaves and smelling the aroma.
Ah, is this not happiness. |

My herbs are going like crazy, in fact my whole square foot garden is exploding. Lots of it I allowed to blossom, which makes it a beloved stop for bees and bumblebees. Sadly this also goes for snails, I must have removed fifty the last couple of weeks...
I got a basil plant from my brother-in-law and am thinking about making a pesto from it.
ah, is this not happiness...
(gonna buy some custard and raspberry this weekend... looking so tasty!) |

Make pesto!! Homemade pesto is the best. So delicious.
(I kinda like snails. I think they're cute. They drive my dad mad because they ruin his veg.)
Growing your own food.
Ah, is this not happiness. |

congrats with andy,
I actually made some ice lollies with custard but was a bit dissappointed about the taste. In my second batch I changed to skinny yoghurt with grenade apple sirup... very nice!
I am pretty bipolar when it comes to snails.. I have five of them in a farm, but when I find them in my square foot garden I throw them to pieces against the wall.
ah, is this not happiness..

Standing in front of a bed filled with Coriander in flower. Cut some leaves for my salad. What fragrance (apparently you either love it or hate it). Ah is that not happiness |

Watching our elderly cat sneaking through the garden looking for a good spot to settle down and ending up on a warm wall relaxing completely. Is there a creature with grater ability to relax?

First dark red cherries, eating them with stones as I have always done (even though I was advised against it). Hanging a pair of them on a small ear of a two year old who looks at me in astonishment and wants to see himself in the mirror.
Ah is that not happiness |
