This recent story in the media strikes me as the ultimate placebo: Many women's migraines disappeared after going under the knife. Am I being cynical, skeptical, ungenerous, or what? It's neither here no there, so I am just gossiping, I suppose. Does anyone else's mind work in this way?
WWll, I could believe that certain things can make one particular part of the body less likely to be the site of TMS.
Like supposedly if they do Botox, certain nerves are calmed down in the forehead and I could imagine that would make it less excitable for TMS purposes (although I guess a gremlin could do anything, like phantom limb pain).
