In 2005 I had L5 S1 disk protrusion(MRI) plus left side
sciatica, I could move only on my knees because of pain.

One of the best doctors (Parnell medical center) suggested me
an operation(you know, doctors say it in 90%).
Also he said only time can treat me, not exercises or therapy.

Fortunately I found old method of treatment invented
in France 50 years ago by Zalmanov and that time
Zalmanov baths were widely used for
musculoskeletal and cardiovascular diseases treatments.

- I felt great relief in 1.5 weeks after starting the procedures with this method.
- I was fully recovered in three months.

First question of my GP(he filled papers for ACC for me)
when he met me couple years later was how I've cured my sciatica, when
I described what I did he said he doesn't know about this method.

I hope this info will help to people if they have similar problems

Happy Easter Limpopo, love your name by the way, first Limpopo I've met. I did a quick google for the Zalmanov Method and it involves taking a hot bath in turpentine--sounds intriguing. And, it has a connection to the Noble prize, I wonder if Al Gore had a hand in it's invention? I'll see if I can sneak some into the hot-tub, beats getting a hip-replacement. Have you read any of Dr. Sarno's books on the topic of back-pain?

Cheers, may the Easter Bunny be good to you.

“Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional.”

Haruki Murakami, What I Talk About When I Talk About Running

Thanks for that reference Allan, I always wondered where that came from, I'll update it in my sig.
