Man oh man...I wish there was a way I could bottle the intensity and focus when I'm training on the bike to apply it to 'TMS'...
In the middle of an interval I can push all thoughts aside and just focus. There is pain, self induced of course, but you don't think about it...You push it aside...Like a famous quote from Jens Voight "Shut up legs"...
Last night I was sitting watching TV and snoozing. Time to get up and go to bed and the sciatic leg pain returned in a flurry...It was terrible...I dropped the ball completely and returned to negative thinking, basically giving up...
I made it to bed and did at least stop myself from going further and worrying. I calmly lied down in bed and waited for the pain to subside enough for sleep to wash over me...And it did...
So maybe I did make progress after all :)
