I saw my psychologist today, he is so great, he really believes in Sarno's work and TMS. Of course, he did support me checking out my medical issues at first to make sure there was nothing seriously wrong with me. I am only just coming to terms with this being TMS after two years of denial!!! One way I know it is TMS is that when I leave his office, I often feel symptom free. I have pains and symptoms that travel, change, stop, start. It was hard to believe what I was feeling was just my rage and anxiety, but it was. I still feel these things but it is easier to deal with because I know it is TMS. Today we talked about a lot of things from my childhood, it was chaotic and violent. I also was able to discuss how my anxiety and rage turns itself into physical symptoms. It really helps. |

Hey I'm in the area and am considering seeing a therapist. Does your guy happen to accept insurance? |

Awesome I'll check it out, thanks...
Edit: Just looked him up. Does he work mainly outta queens or does he use that office in the city he lists as well? Also, just outta curiousity, did you more or less introduce him to TMS or had he known of it before? |

Thanks for the positive report NYC. Sounds very encouraging for you. Sorry to hear about the childhood issues. It's amazing what kids are put through.
Keep us updated on progress.
