NBC is advertising a segment on Monday's (May 5) Nightly News called "The Mindbody Connection."
It will probably be a disappointment to us, but might be a step in the right direction. I hope so anyway.

I watched NBC Nightly News tonight to see this segment. It was mostly about the trend toward Integrative Medicine in this country, adding complementary medicine to such things as cancer treatment; i.e., hypnosis, meditation, acupuncture, etc. Nothing about chronic pain yet. But they described it as a series for this week, so maybe there will be more segments.

Thanks for the tip. Maybe they'll do something more about the 'real' mind-body connection.
I'd love to see "60 Minutes" do an in-depth story about Dr. Sarno. I bet it would have a real impact. |

On Wednesday night's NBC Nightly News, the segment on "The Mindbody Connection," was about Tai Chi. Brian Williams mentioned that this one was the final one of the series.
