I find from Neil's previous post that this news story originated at WBAL TV in Baltimore, but it got picked up in Sacramento, CA, and maybe other stations as well.
Neil already posted the complete 27 minute interview with Dr. Sarno by Donna Hamilton, and here's the link to that again:

I've been trying to watch the video but can't. When I click on the video link it just keeps loading forever so I went to the article link and clicked on the video link from there but the same thing happened.
Is there another way?

| Thanks for sharing this info ! I really enjoyed the interview .. Just confirms how great I feel about Dr Sarno, and that part where he talks about making friends with the inner child I thought was so touching! He is such a champion of validating our condition and promoting real healing. |

Wow, what a great interview (the full-length WBAL-TV one) -- and almost an half-hour long!
Dr. Sarno really touched on some great points. I got the most out of him saying:
* You hurt because you're trying to be a perfect and a good. What made you that way? (something from your childhood)...and who were you trying to please when you were young? Who are you trying to please now that you feel you need to be "perfect and good?"
*Picturing yourself as a child (5 or 6 years old) standing in front of you, remembering what that child might be feeling, and letting the child know that "you as the rational adult self" are there to be a friend. (That part made me break down and cry -- I definitely have some childhood issues to attend to).
* When he said "The modicum of doubt that you have (regarding whether your pain is TMS or not) means that the brain still needs to continue either the pain or the fear of the pain." Wow, that really hit home.
