Silly as it sounds, I just ran around our house twenty times with my kids. I haven't run in nine years (used to be a mararthoner). My kids have NEVER ever seen me run. We had a blast. I am refusing to aknowledge the pain right now. Any progress with the mind will result in progress with the body. Running has always been my greatest fear. So I have decided to go full throttle and start with the worst.

YES YES YES!
Sara - you and I will come back together, stronger than ever! My long-term goal right now is to run the California International Marathon in December 2005, which would make my 9th marathon. I'm pumped! One step at a time!
GREAT JOB!!! |

Way to go Sara! I know Sarno recommends people take it slow when they return to activity but for me a "cold turkey" approach really helped me kick TMS in the butt. As soon as I finished reading TMBP, I hopped on my bike - after I dusted it off that is.
Give TMS a run for its money, honey! |

Thank you everyone. Your encouraging words mean so much to me. It is amazing how just a few words can help so much. I think I'll chase my kids around again today and show them their real Mama!!!!
