Well i know ive been posting alot, sorry. But i was wondering if the way to kill TMS is by expressing those emotions? Or what?
Do any emotions feed TMS?
Because i sometimes feel scared when i think about that the herniation will cause Cauda Equina Syndrome.
And then sometimes i get scared that i wont find the reason for the pain.(Emotion causing the pain)

dont be sorry for anything. keep posting.

You just got your results, you had to get them, Sarno says you have to, you did nothing wrong. But your'e gonna be in shock for a while. Your results are identical pretty much to mine btw, I have 4 herniations in the same place, my big one is in the same space as yours, and my annular tear is in the lower one.

you had to rule out anything serious, cancer, fractures, grade 5 spondy..etc..you did, and your'e fine.

One of Sarno's books states that 6mos after the original MRI's, a group of people who had MRI's 6mos later showed the majority of them had their herniations retract back significantly........just by waiting it out. This may or not have cured their pain because as you know the herniations most likely (I hate the word Most, I wish I could say "all" but Sarno does'nt so I wont) wernt the cause of their pain.

Go ahead and let the rare "Cauda Equina" thoughts float around in your head. Say your'e gonna not fight them off anymore. Mark a calendar 30 days from now, and say I'm gonna let myself worry about CE for this amount of time w/ out fighting it off. The scary thoughts are TMS just as much as the pain. In fact, try to think about CE very hard today, to the point where you find your mind trying to think of anything else but you won't let it.

Besides journaling, and insight therapy, I think this cognitive technique is important. I think you would look back a month or two from now and see that your thoughts are different.

So you get CE? It's rare, but lets say you get it? Then what? You get surgery? And it's gone. At the end of the day, it is one of the conventional diagnoses thats fixable. Unlike general back pain, which is not always fixable conventionally, and needs mind/body therapy.
