Ok, i just need to clear something up here...I am a longtime fan and made the move to Sirius last year. I listen every single day and at least once a day Howard talks about how much he loves being on satellite and being free. He actually played those news reports that claimed he wants to go back to terrestrial radio and laughed at the blatant lies the press makes up. In no way is he leaving Sirius. That is a completely fabricated story.
BTW, for all the critics out there, how many of you ever listened to an entire show start to finish??? And I'm not talking about the naughty parts from the E channel.
Thanks to Howard many people have found (as Howard calls him) "the great Dr. Sarno". That alone should show everyone that he is a smart person. |

Glad to see I have fellow Stern fans on board w/me. I sometimes feel like I'm all alone. I agree that most people who think he's disgusting never really listen to him. After getting to know the cast of characters and hearing them all banter and laugh at situations, you develop an appreciation for his humor. I personally don't care for all the potty humor and obsession w/porn but I exercise my right to change the station at that point (usually to Nat'l Public Radio which is quite an extreme). My favorite bits are the ones where he makes fun of Hollywood!

| Howard is pure id...for 5 hours a day he puts away the public facade we all have to create to "cope" with life and other people, and lets it all hang out, all those sometimes ugly, many times funny desires and fears we all have tucked away (many of which cause physical pain!). He's one of the best interviewers ever, no phoney baloney press junket fluff, and when the staff get going with their stories sometimes you have to pull over from laughing so much. And Fred is amazing on the sound effects. |

TT. Just for the record, And if you want some of the GW money? You might want to get his name right, It is Sir Richard Branson and he does not suffer, Nore is he aware of TMS. If he did I am sure he would donate it to this very worthy forum. Keep up the work. |
