Does anyone have any opinions on Bioenergetics as a treatment for TMS? This is a form of physical exercise designed to release muscle tension brought about by repressed emotions. I haven't come across this is connection with TMS and find this odd as it addresses both the symptoms and the psychogenic factors that define TMS.

I have heard about not exercises but kind of treatments called craniosacral, you can easily find it in interenet. The therapeutics says that this is physical equivalent of psychotherapy and during treatment emotions can be revealed what is step to recover. I have not tried it but it is really interesting.

I had a doctor prescribe craniosacral massage for my chronic pelvic pain. I went to someon who supposedly had extensive training in it but I really felt like it was a crock. It didn't do anything for me- no emotional release or pain relief. I was doing it along with my physical therapy but dropeed them both when I found this board and then I got better. Just my experience.

I don’t want to defend the craniosacral. I was mailing with one therapist from Warsaw. He was very modest and did no promise me anything. Just telling me that he can try to check where in my body are places of tension and so one. As I have read testimonies of people they are incredible. They feel very different things during treatment, but any significant improvement is after several months of therapy or some patients do not react at all.
This method is cooperatively new, something like 80 years of investigation. Sarno’s approach is more convenient and more successful, I hope.
