I keep getting closer to totally believing the TMS thing, and could write a very long history of different so-called injuries that turned out to be basically nothing. In some ways I've come to believe it by the process of elimination - like when no physically oriented remedies work. Also the Healing Back Pain book really seems to ring true on a personal level. But more to the point...
Does anyone yet know of a "TMS doc" around Salt Lake City or Albuquerque? I live out in the boondocks but visit those cities fairly often. Also, exactly how does one become referred to as a "TMS doc" to begin with?

There doesn't seem to be an explosion of TMS-oriented practitioners from where I sit - but maybe people in a more civilized region would be more up on this.

Hi Weatherman,

Not too many TMS doctors on the planet. Check the links on the HOME PAGE at this site or http://www.tarpityoga.com/directory.html You may have to travel to Cal or Texas.

Good luck

The above link wouldn't work for me because of the trailing period. Try: http://www.tarpityoga.com/directory.html
