Coming back to any kind of pain is a bummer. At least I know that pain can end. I want to stay active but whenever I do something using muscles and strength, I end up with pain in the
bum and extremely tired. Sometimes I take a 20 minute nap and that helps. Any of you who have had the same, please write me and let me know how you dealt with these. Best to you all. I will continue to try.

Hi MB,

I saw in your profile that you are 70, I'm 65 and semi-retired. I think aches and pains come with the ageing territory. Maybe you're being too hard on yourself and have unreasonable expectations for what you can physically do at your age. I've noticed it takes me longer to get warmed-up for physical activities but once I do things move OK. Naps are good, hot-tubs for the muscular pain. As far as "trying", I don't much care, I just do it, have fun and screw the rest of them if they don't like it. At this point it's not a dress rehearsal anymore.

G'luck!
