I am about 50 pages into my first Sarno book. I keep hearing about "journaling" and the benefits it can give us. I guess I have yet to get to that part in the book yet.
Can anybody give me explanation for Sarno's journaling concept? Or maybe point me in the right direction? Thanks.
Well, I sat down and didn't really know what to write about. So I kind of just started and all of a sudden I looked down and I had written four pages almost entirely about my emotional issues with rejection and problems with girls in the past few years.
It felt good to get some of those things out that I can definitely see that I have been repressing. However, these are things that I knew that I was repressing so wouldn't you consider these thoughts conscious repressions? Maybe I should dig deeper to find the repressions of my unconsciousness. I'm sure I will find some more stuff the more I do this.
