Here's a copy of an email I sent Dave:

Hi Dave,

May I suggest that the definition of TMS, found on the Forum's Home page, be updated to the current "THE MINDBODY SYNDROME" from "Tension Myositis Syndrome". This may help alleviate confusion over including affective (emotional) symptoms as being TMS, along with physical symptoms, (muscles, ligaments and tendons), within the scope of TMS psychosomatic symptoms. This is the definition that Drs. Sarno and Sopher came up with to keep the acronym TMS intact.

As always, thanks for keeping the Forum going,
tt
