Simply delighting in every word that Eric posts because he is the rain on your crop, the sun on your field, the hope in your heart. He beams that healing is not only becoming pain free, it is more, much more. Healing is your soul dancing and smiling and loving and holding out a warm hand to a warmer heart.

Ah, is this not happiness.

To get your soul to blossom, it needs to be watered with a mix of bitter and sweet tears, fertilized with thoughts of happiness and guided towards the sun by caring friends.

ah, is this not happiness..

Every champion must be willing to believe in their own dreams
when others seem to busy or uncaring to encourage them
and all champions always keep their focus on where they are going
with the feeling of certainty that their desire is already acheived.

Ah, is this not happiness...

plum you are the rain in the hills that trinkles doun
and gives us all the living water, bless you
ps.... i bring you good news of great joy: Luke 2:10

From: A New Earth (Ekhart Tolle)

Many poets and sages throughout the ages have observed that true
happiness – I call it the joy of Being – is found in simple, seemingly
unremarkable things. Most people, in their restless search for something
significant to happen to them, continuously miss the insignificant, which
may not be insignificant at all. The philosopher Nietzsche, in a rare moment
of deep stillness, rote, “For happiness, how little suffices for happiness!....
the least ting precisely, the gentlest thing, the lightest thing, a lizard's
rustling, a breath, a wisk, an eye glance – little maketh up the best happiness.
Be still.”

Why is it the “least thing” that makes up “the best happiness”?
Because true happiness is not caused by the thing or event, although this is
how it first appears. The thing or event is so subtle, so unobtrusive, that it
takes up only a small part of your consciousness – and the rest is inner space,
consciousness itself unobstructed by form. Inner space consciousness and
who you are in your essence are one and the same. In other words, the form
of little things leaves room for inner space. And it is from inner space, the
unconditioned consciousness itself, that true happiness, the joy of Being,
emanates. To be aware of little, quiet things, however, you need to be quiet
inside. A high degree of alertness is required. Be still. Look. Listen. Be
present.

It took him a year, but that young, timid boy was finally able to beat you with table tennis. The smile on his face made your loss not bitter, just sweet.

Despite wearing black velvet jeans (hair magnet), you abandon yourself to playing with your friends gorgeous golden labrador pup. She's a bundle of mischief and you now resemble a hair-ball but your heart rejoices and you couldn't care less.

This makes you think back of your family dog when you were young, a bitch poodle that used to pee as if it was a male dog... great memories... when you got home from school she used to go crazy from excitement and run 30 laps through the living room...

A long and pleasant telephone call with someone you have been friends with since highschool. Even when you haven't been in contact for several months, the conversation always is like it was yesterday.
