Sylvia: I'd read or listen to Eckhart Tolle's book first. |

hey guys just checking-but isnt this like awareness, mindfulness and wakefullness- ill do my studies to see if i can see the subtle differences- its the small things that make such a huge impact in these studys for me-like when i study awareness and then mindfullness- i get two different meanings and as echart tolles wakefullness-it gave me subtle meanings differently too-thanks for the post sylvia- and thanks for mentioning tolle-peregrinus- he sounds like eric clapton to me-but aint that cool clapton teaching on extreme wakefulness- the presence power-its a no brainer-put your studys in- there enough in the reviews you provided that got me excited about the presence process |

In my best my loving fairy godmother Claire Weekes voice, Utta Utta Acceptance.
Theory: Pre 7 year old (emotional child) wounds, pain, unconcious, never integrated/accepted. That unconcious is projecting onto the screen of life the same emotional wound pain to be integrated. Like why no matter what you "do" you keep reenacting the same scene, (same guy/girl different pants) all of this for unconditional love. All human search/actions at all times is to recieve unconditional love.
You get unconditional love by Utta Utta Acceptance of the emotion. Being with the little kid. Every anger/fear/sorrow you get as response from anyone (the messenger) (and don't shoot the messenger) be with that feeling. And you give yourself uncondtional love and then you can give it "out there" Which I think is concurrent as you no longer scorn/hate/react to the messanger. It can become fun as you can spot a messenger coming a mile away. Fun way to live I think going from a reactor to a responder.
Throw in twice a day meditation of 15 minutes of conscious continous breathing. I have not researched the truth of this, but he says every mammal breathes continuously, we are the only ones that have pauses. The meditation is to allow no pauses. This brings you presence. (Obviously if you are not present you cannot be with the emotion accepting, you will be reacting and cursing whatever set you off and rejecting and trying to get away from.
So that's as best I can give of my understanding.

It's online as a pdf.
http://rockinghorsefarm.org/TPPV2.pdf
Looking through it, it seems very abstract to me, although I am sure for some folks more attuned to that sort of thinking that would be a plus.
It also seems one would need an awful lot of free time to spend on oneself to do this -- not sure how realistic that is for people with full-time jobs and kids?
The breathing part is interesting -- many of the breathing exercises with which I am familiar involve some element of intentional pauses/holding. Continuous breathing for 15 minutes sounds exhausting but perhaps it isn't. |

i believe ive already heard it on the pdf-it was great-ive done a lot of work-i think the message was wakefulness-any ways -thanks- ill resume to the precense study becuse what you wrote sounds intresting for the meditation-even though i dont do it all the time i have weeks when i practice it and now its been about two weeks and ive practiced the affirmations or just knowing thru acceptance just to do the 30 to 40 concepts i already have doun to do seem like a lot-but the key is when you learn them -they become like second nature-learn to meditate-affirm and accept-most all releaxing is around these tecniques-they help heal-they were important in my last steps-also important to keep practicing -any ways thanks guys |

I just started reading the book and decided to find out more about the breathing. I actually met with a "breathworker" a week ago and was glad I did. I don't think I could have understood the breathing technique that Dr. Judith Kravitz describes without actually practicing with someone. It was very relaxing and very easy to do once I got the concept. I felt very centered and an overwhelming calm when we were done.
I must say that I am not sure I have read enough yet on the Presence Process to understand the whole theory but I am still reading. I did read and listen to Eckhart Tolle and both books are about learning to live more in the moment. We can all benefit from that.
Interesting stuff.

I did it for the first 10 weeks. Found it a waste of time with no results. |

I wouldn't mind some pablum in my life, things were much easier when I was an infant, hooked on the stuff. I saw him speak at a new-agey conference once and he was a very endearing gnome-like man. If he would have seen you struggling with that file cabinet, he would have stopped and helped you put it into your car. You could have fitted him into one of the drawers and he would have helped you put it into your house. It's not his fault he got Deepak hot, I hope he's getting laid a lot, he deserves it. |

Sylvia: I just started doing this, so far I love it I mean I feel emotional release but I need to get done with the first 10 weeks to tell you for sure. Its based more on emotional release work, not really mind work. His take is that the deep unconscious emotions is the cause of the mind issues ect, so he goes on to integrate emotions so that the mind/body can heal. I know one women with the same bladder disease I have become healed by doing the 10 week process twice, so although it does not work for everyone there are success stories out there using it. I will update you in 10 weeks.

I did the presence process about 15 months ago, enjoyed it very much. Funny though, my memories of the process are not clear. I also enjoy reading and listening to Adyashanti. He is good for post-awakening direction. His organization is not for profit, lots of info for free on his site. |
