Hi everyone: I've always had soft tissue issues with my joints (knee, shoulder, wrist & now, elbows) as well as my back, due to my love of weight training. I've been training now for over 20 years with every type of problem. Since I've discovered Sarno's TMS theories, I've only had elbow issues. The "tennis elbow" moved from my right elbow to my left elbow. The pain is actually on my funny bone. The pain in that elbow has always been constant, 24/7. Since I've been using some Sarno techniques (affirmations, thinking psychologically, etc) & with some time, I've now noticed that my pain is gone during my training sessions but comes back hours after I'm done. I'm assuming that this is due to conditioning. The pain continues constantly until my next session, where everything is repeated once again. I'm beginning to feel some hope that I might be making some real progress here. If it was a structural problem, wouldn't the pain exist all the time? Especially during heavy weight training sessions? Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
