I hope this message finds everyone well.

Im looking for the most basic of basic starter guides.
Am open to audio books too.

Would like to try and dedicate 10-20 per day to mediation.

Thoughts/help/recommendations are greatly appreciated.

One of the best books for meditation is "Fully Present" by Susan Smalley and Diane Winston. It's written by the founders of the UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center. They also offer a fantastic online meditation course.

You can also search YouTube for Jom Kabbot Zin lectures to learn quite a bit.

There are great podcasts as well, my favorite being Meditation Oasis. Guided mediation is often helpful for beginners like myself.

Above is link to a free ebook on meditation. Wrote by Dr Thynn Thynn. Very popular book in the East, almost unknown in the West. Just another choice for you or just for fun reading.

Here is another free short and fun ebook on Meditation: http://www.buddhanet.net/pdf_file/hello_with_love.pdf

No, I don't know everything. I'm just here to share my experience.

Check in the "Learn to Meditate" site. Looks like it has various techniques of Yoga, including the Energization Exercises and the The Hong Sau Technique. See the below link.

The above link seem to have some good links within it.
