My skin has been broken out all summer so I finally went to see my dermatologist today who gave me a prescription for roseaca/acne. In looking up rosacea I found this:

Some researchers have linked rosacea to environmental and hereditary factors, while others have suggested that rosacea stems from certain molecules in the skin. However, the exact root cause remains unknown.

Wow, what a surprise that the root cause remains unknown. Maybe because it's TMS!? ;)

Edited to add: I've been hesistant to even go to the dermatologist or use any medicated creams to get rid of it, because of all the TMS symptoms I have right now this one is the least of my problems! I'm in pscyhotherapy to put an end to TMS once and for all, but until then if I have symptom imperative, I'd much rather have some ugly bumps on my face than excruciating back pain or depression!
