OK, I know this may sound new-agey, but I was just given a book (Chi Running by Danny Dreyer)by my brother in Boulder who is involved in marathon/fitness training. Most of us eventually confront the problem inherent with TMS, is the ailment physically based, or emotionally based? You may want to have a look at this book because it takes a very different approach to running. I could simplify it by saying that the author has figured out the kinesiology of Kenyan runners and added principles of tai chi but that doesn't do it justice. The postural recommendations have helped me a great deal in loosening up my pelvis/sacral area and running has become much more effortless. The reduction of physical stresses and the added confidence that you develop help lessen common running pains which can easily be amplified by TMSers into something they are not.
