Hello. I am new to this Forum but am so happy to have found this online communication! Been dealing with L-5 pain radiating down left leg, read Sarno's book and beginning to come to the end. As I say, I've turned a corner, and what a good corner it is.
I am also a seasoned Advanced EFT Practitioner, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Life Coach. EFT is an amazing energy technique that provides healing and soothing, calming and relaxation. It has helped me enormously and I'm using it along with the TMS guidelines. If you are interested in learning more, let me know! I love energy work and am an extreme believer as I've seen so many shifts with my clients.

I hope you don't mind if I ask you this question as it would help me get a better understanding of EFT. As an EFT practitioner should your techniques have stopped you from developing TMS in the first place?

You certainly make a good point, but I think that the reason for the TMS is very very deep (I now realize) and I am only now aware of the 'rage' that's been inside that is at the basis of all my other issues.

EFT is now a beautiful supplement when I discover the anger and now I allow it to be, and say "okay, I'm ticked and p-o'd, and that is okay for now. Big difference. Much more accepting of me and my being a goodist......

Thanks for your input.....Do you do EFT?

Not at the moment. Recovery is slow and there are times when I wonder if I can do this by myself. It is then I start considering other techniques such as EFT.

So far I am discovering especially during challenging times that I am becoming slowly aware of the behaviour and thought patterns leading up to the pain. This improvement is resulting in a gradual mental shift. Whilst I am achieving this, I will see how much I can do by myself.
