I left Dr. Kaplan a phone message, http://www.beyond2020vision.com/contact/ and told him about this site and the vision questions that came up, hopefully he'll respond. I read his books about a decade ago, and recall they were very TMS complementary. I think "The Power Behind Your Eyes" would be a good one to get. I'm sure you can get it on Amazon. SteveO's "Great Pain Deception", is a great comprehensive text and distillation of TMS knowledge and lore in the fashion of a James Michener saga.

Thanks Tom that was very nice of you especially showing him this thread and leaving him a phone message. I would love to see what he has to say about this hopefully he responds. I looked up the book on amazon and bought The Power Behind Your Eyes from the short description it looks like the book that is TMS complementary. Yeah right now I'm going back through individual chapters of Steve's book tons of great information in there to recap on. Thanks for the reocmmendation on the books too Im looking forward to reading through it. I'll contact Dr. Kaplan too again to see if his site is down. He posts on twitter frequently so Im trying to reach him through there too. |

Y'welcome Dgreen, his schedule at his site shows he travels abroad to lecture a lot, he may be headed to Vienna. Hopefully he'll check in someday, since your issue is eyesight, his book should be very helpful to you. |

KOOL! Persistence is the the TMS gremlin's foe. Folks who make it here did so not by accident but by persistence.

Thanks, friends, for reviving this thread. I just got back from England where I was in a contentious legal situation that involved being attacked from beyond the grave by quotes from family members. When one of those family people was dying and I went over there, my dry eye problems began, and a very slight double vision quite quickly became dangerous to drive without special glasses.
Now I'm back from this - ah - "stressful" experience and noticing that although my conscious thoughts are quite jubilant ("ThankGawd it's over," etc.), my eyes are killing me. Hmm, Katie, interesting choice of words.
The other night I woke up and to get back to sleep I put a YouTube video by David Hawkins on my iPad. At that exact moment he had just been telling a class how he had cured himself of about 20 major illnesses by realizing they weren't real, etc. (his book "Healing and Recovery" is one of the best non-TMS TMS books I've ever read).
But then someone in the audience said, "Awright, David, then if you've got rid of all these symptoms (including every possible allergy, back pain and 5 fatal illnesses), why are you wearing trifocal glasses?" He then had a big aha, took them off and never put them back on - although it took about a year for the eyes to catch up.
Just saying..
I'm going to read Kaplan, thanks Tom.
Love is the answer, whatever the question |

persistence is definitely the key. speaking with kaplan on his forum he wants to do an iris decoding interpretation. not sure what this is trying to find out from him. |

Also speaking with him on skype he said that 85% of all eye problems are caused by emotional issues. |

wavy so TMS has the power as well to create double vision in your eyes? I've noticed this too and obviously when I start to concern myself with it it gets worse. |
