Hi, all...
The PPD/TMS Peer Network (the group behind the TMS Wiki) holds a weekly drop-in chat from 3-4 every Sunday [edit: oops. I meant Saturday]. Today's is starting right now. [Edit: well, it was starting "right now," but now it's over . The next one is next Saturday.]
Several TMSHelpers drop by every week and I hope you'll consider dropping by to ask a question, share your wisdom with others or simply listen in.
The web address is: http://tmswiki.medialayer.net/dropinchat/
Hope to see you there!

That was actually a really nice chatroom. When I first came in they were "talking shop" but dropped the conversation and asked if I had any questions or if they could assist me in some way. Really encouraging people that have learned to manage their TMS symptoms and are genuinely wanting to help others. I'm glad I went in. |

What a great thing that people are holding a chatroom. That is very kind and encouraging about human nature. My symptoms feel better just hearing about it. '

Hi TaylorJoh, I'm so happy to hear that you found it helpful! I'll forward your feedback to the mailing list and I'm sure that it will make everyone feel very good. With so few people that know about TMS, starting up a nonprofit can feel like pushing a boulder up a hill sometimes, but every piece of positive feedback makes it all worth it.
We hold them every week, so the next one will be this Saturday at 3:00 Eastern US Time and lasting for an hour. Assuming you live in a different time zone, you can check the start time in your time zone using the drop down menu on this page.) While they are supposed to end after an hour, people often show up late and when they do, and there are usually people who are happy to stick around, since we were there, too, and know what it is like.
People may also want to check out our free structured educational program. Over the course of 33 days, it takes you through a TMS journaling program, all of the best TMS online resources, and all of the tips and tricks that helped us get over our pain. Since it's made by a nonprofit (the TMS Wiki), it's completely free, so what have you got to lose?
