I had a hypnotherapist make me a relaxation hypnosis tape once, which for me was very useful... but its content was specific to that time in my life, and it's very dated now. I went to the local library site to try to find some sort of generic guided relaxation (e.g. spoken word) CD, but all I get is background music on the search results..... anyone have a lead for me on something like this?

Dr. Andrew Weil and/or Belleruth Naparstek have some good ones for relaxation.

Or you can listen to PBS any given station or broadcast for free.

I believe there is one in Howard Schubiner's Unlearn Your Pain book. I think he's got a sample of it on his website.

I'm a big fan of a couple of podcasts:

Meditation for Health by Dr. Robert Puff (Free)

Meditation Oasis (Free)

They're guided meditations, but work great for relaxing and have many themes.
