I haven't been around here in a long while, and I really should post my success story at some point. The Cliff Notes version is that Drs. Rashbaum and Sarno saved me from potential back surgery for disk and stenosis problems, and I've been 99% healthy for over two years.

On a related note, I've always had seasonal allergies, although they have gotten better since my TMS treatment and study. But I also developed an allergy to fresh fruit starting in the mid-'90s, when I was around 30. I've never been much of a fruit eater, with a couple of exceptions, the biggest one of which was grapefruit. Whenever I felt a need to drop a few pounds, I would eat 2-3 a day, and pare back to one daily for maintenance.

I recently started dieting again, and I felt really frustrated that my diet is restricted from such a healthy food. So I told my wife the other day that I've decided I'm not going to be allergic to fruit any more, based on TMS theory. She gave me the usual nod and, "Whatever you say, dear."

Last night, I ate an entire grapefruit with NO REACTION WHATSOEVER. I cut it in half, peeled off the skin, and wolfed it down. The last time I tried to do that, more than a year ago, I got a rash on my fingers and under my fingernails just from peeling it, and one bite made my gums all itchy.

I still can't believe this.

if you convince your mind that you are "allergic" to something, your mind will give you symptoms-ive been there a million times thats how i developed a selective eating disorder-the thing it gave me is a failing marriage-tms is a handful to say the least.i still have the s.e.d., its your minds way of creating yet another distraction.

My advice would be to do all of the TMS work and homework FIRST to rule out major symptoms. Next learn the mechanisms behind your symptoms and triggering symptoms. Learn your self., listen to your body and take notes. Including all possible programmed responses.

Understand your symptoms, your body and the mind body connection. While studying good old common sense health and nutrition. AFTER applying this to the TMS model while learning your body and its patterns. If you have come so far with limited results then perhaps You may want to consider there may be another underlying reason for SOME of your left over symptoms

JMHO Allergies Note: not just an emotional response (example stress induced) .Are mainly do to
Over reactive /super sensitive immune systems that has been compromised In some way . Restoring the system and or systems that are over burdened will restore the body ability to react and function normal again. Example a diabetic or a person who is over weight , There body or system is over worked/ taxed and the process to covert assimilate things properly is out of whack. Ez fix if they do not let things get worse. The longer they let it get worse the more complicated their health and condition becomes . Often times leading to a life long condition and or other health related problems associated with their condition. Hope that made sense its relativity all common sense . What Most main stream Docs don’t use or apply in helping patients get well the right way.

Restrictive diets, allergic reactions, eating disorders, super immune allergic responses are all related to an unhealthy gut. JMHO again learn about healing the gut and you will move to the next step healing your current condition.
If you have adrenal and thyroid issues, including being a chemical sensitive individual than it is more complex than just healing the gut. At that point you may want to investigate proper liver function and detox
