Hello,

I bought and read Sarno's book (even more then 1 time) after having pain in my wrists, shoulders and elbows.
Everything in the book sounds very logical to me and I think I might also have TMS according to the person type Sarno describes in the book.

But, there is 1 problem: in the book Sarno says 99% of all TMS sufferers have this specific tender/pressure points (somewhere along the lower back) but I on the other hand have no tender points like this at all. I even checked it.

So is it possible to have TMS whithout this tender points?

Thanks in advance,
Noam.

How have you checked it? Only Dr. Sarno or an experienced TMS physician can identify and probe the proper trigger points.

In any case, one shouldn't get hung up on details such as this. The most important aspect of the TMS diagnosis is psychological. The details of the symptoms vary widely. The unconscious mind tailors the symptoms in such a way to be a successful distraction.
