I have the dvd from 2000ish. Though he has more updated information now in his books, I still like the dvd. Have lent it out often. Maybe ask your library to get it?
Also good video clips of more current information available online. One was posted here last week.
I like the DVD's. I don't remember there being any information in them that you couldn't find in the books, but there's something about hearing and seeing Dr. Sarno speak that seems to, at least for me, get to a deeper level in the brain. Maybe it's that his manner is so calm and logical and reassuring, it's harder not to believe what he's saying than it is at the remove of a printed page. The production values are a little clunky, and at first it has a bit of the feel of an infomercial, but who cares. I think the DVD's are worth watching.
Anyone tried Sarno's lecture DVDs?
