Hi everyone,

I have seen SRT referenced in several posts, but I don't for the life of me know what it is.

Can anyone explain, or provide a link to more information?

I am always interested in anything that can help me or my patients.

Cheers
David

Hi This is my first post on this forum. Hope I get it right!

I have been doing Trauma Releasing Exercises (TREs)devised by David Berceli. It seems that these are based on the same or similar principles as SRT. There is a book available that gives details of the exercises and here is a link to some video clips of interviews and feedback from workshop participants.

I didn't watch the first video but the others are good.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the links!

The link to the SRT website was a little less informative than I'd like. Can someone describe the therapy? Is there a certain mental technique employed, or is it something like tapping/Thought Field Therapy?

Any more information would be appreciated, especially from someone who has been through some of the work.

Yes, the name of the book is Trauma Releasing Exercises by David Berceli. Available from www.traumaprevention.com (bottom right of home page) or Amazon.com. If you e-mail me, I'll send you some more information about the exercises so that you can decide if you want to order the book.
