Hi Everyone, I have a friend living in Manhatten who I referred to Sarno. When he called Sarno's answering machine it was filled.Does anyone know if he has E/mail,and or are there other TMS doctors in the NYC area you would recommend? Thanks
i dont want to hurt anyone or give them less hope but from what i know about this dr sarno. he deals with your problems psychologicaly. i might be wrong but i have a friend who has been seeing him for a few years.ofcourse your brain does send out signals to the injured parts of your body and can play a part in healing but i have not heard of new or old medical procedures he uses or if he deals with that at all. as i said i could be wrong and i dont want anyone to lose hope but this is what i have been told from my doctors and from what i have read. i wish pain relief however you can find it for all.

Clearly you are not familiar with Dr. Sarno's theory. I urge you to read his book before jumping to conclusions.
Dr. Sarno is in the office. I saw him yesterday. Try calling in the morning. His secretary Mary is more likely to answer. If not leave a message and she will call you back. The number is 212-263-6035
