Marc,
The site is using Soviet style censorship. Unbelievable. In fact, they're locked ME out. BTW, I didn't even mention this site, I mentioned they can get Sarno's book at Amazon.com, that's what they blocked out. Ohhh, big secret, Amazon.com .
Since I am banned, could someone please post this at Healthboards.com for me? Naturally, you can edit it if you see fit. [Also, Floridaboy has an interesting post there which we can support]:
Believe it not, Sarno's books and mention of his books are banned on this site. Why? You can ask the moderators, but I'll tell you why: Dr. John Sarno's book, Healing Back Pain can cure you in one reading - regardless of what your MRI says, regardless of what your doctor says, regardless of what the people on this site say. This means that this message board, and the doctors that sponsor it, will be renedered useless.
The book is sold at all major book stores. Write down the name, as I assure you this thread we be deleted before long. Thanks, Joe
Note: I am an attorney, and part of my practice is personal injury (mostly car accidents). These cases are only valuable when you have an "injury" for which to ask the insurance company to compensate. So, if people ever reject my reccommendation of Dr. Sarno, I don't get too down about it. I just say, "There goes a future client!" Come to think of it - try not to cure everyone folks! I got a little girl I want to send to private school

If you start out a message this way, exactly what do you expect? Your message reads like a thousand "get rich quick" spams. It makes Dr. Sarno look like a con artist.
In my opinion this strong desire to evangelize Dr. Sarno, especially to an unreceptive audience, is indicative of the personality traits that lead to TMS in the first place. Maybe your time would be best spent thinking about why you choose to do this. You just might find that it has less to do with helping people, and more to do with your own insecurities and a need to project a strong image to others. |

Ah well, so they deleted it? While I do think the thread may have helped some, on the other hand I also think that when it comes to getting better from TMS, the real desire to heal is paramount. That old addage, "when the student is ready, the teacher shall appear," holds true. Those who are ready to read Sarno's books will search on Amazon or their local library and find them.
In the meantime, I guess those who want to play spy vs. spy with the moderators of those other boards can have a little trickster fun... |
