Matt, in fact a "real fracture" heals very fast, according to Sarno, a broken frmur, the largest bone in the body heals fully and stronger in 30 days, compared to most of our TMS pain that's lightening speed. My TMS pain has lingered in various manifestations for going on ten years now. So break a leg anyday, if you want to experience a speedy recovery.
Yesterday I realized I had a moment of absolute, 100%, NO PAIN, while walking from my car to work, after my tennis practice. I said to myself, "THAT'S NICE!", let's re-visit this nice place more often.
TMS pain can "clear" up in three seconds or "whenever" your brain tell it to. It clears up at the speed of BELIEF.
All of the answers to your questions are contained in MBP. The best thing you can do right now is curl up with your Sarno and READ, READ, READ. Don't let the TMS gremlin blind-fold you.
Clear out the stale, negative thoughts you have about your body with fresh new positive ones from Dr. Sarno. |

Tom, What a great line!!! "It clears up at the speed of BELIEF". That really sums it all up!

Do yourself a favor and stop using physical injuries as a metaphor. You have to train yourself to stop thinking physical.
In my experience TMS symptoms do take time to clear. You cannot expect instant relief. The key is to keep up the work. Trust the process, don't measure your progress. Do the work, and the relief will come on its own. |

yeah for me after a while TMS is no longer about the pain its about understanding my self & what my fears are how i deal or dont deal with stuff etc. gaining control through understanding oneself |
