I know that some take breaks here. I'm wondering if it's time for me.

Has anyone simply left here, stopped journaling, stopped therapy, waited it out for long period of time acknowledging they'll get better at some point because it's harmless pain?
Or faked believed it was harmless, and eventually faded.

Between Mando1 and Jimmyjimmy, I'm gonna lose my marbles.

Can you think of any examples? Threads?

I'm in therapy and rarely journal so maybe I'm not the one to give you advice, but I know exactly what you mean by the Mando1 and JimmyJimmy posts. I had a bit of an uncomfortable weekend after reading Mando1's diagnosis and re-visting jimmyjimmy's post.

When I first dealt with my TMS over 4 years ago, I used to do things to intentionally take my mind off of TMS. This was part of getting better for me. I had the tendency to obsess over whether or not I was doing the tms work correctly, and these activities helped me forget about the symptoms, the tms work, and actually helped me progress (initially) as much as any other aspect of the "program"

Easier said than done....but I take the tack regarding mando and jimmy that "It doesn't apply to me." and go on thinking that I'm fine - nothing to worry about. However, if I tried TMS treatment for a long time with no results, I'd think otherwise. But I've seen enough results quickly enough to trust that it's TMS in my case.

We all have to make that judgment for ourselves. Truth is, now that I'm feeling better - I'm visiting here less often. When I was in heavy pain - I was in here many times a day.

I think that should be the goal. Come here for support when you need it - but if feeling pretty good - stick to the treatment program off line and get some distance from the forum.

Just my 2 cents.
