It sounds like bone against bone, but a doctor told me it was just tight muscles. Sometimes it doesn't even hurt, and I can only hear it when it's really quiet - but it still freaks me out a bit. Anyone ever have something like this? Due to TMS? |

I sometimes get them in my knees when I go up and downstairs.

Hi Chris, I haven't been on here for awhile or I would have answered this post right away..I have this too..Sometimes my neck will make noise even when I am laying still in bed..It is freaky and can be scary too..I can empathize with you..On a comforting note, I have also been told it's nothing to worry about..IN my case, I was told when spinal bones crack it's just gas being released in the bones..It's not bone on bone, if it was you would probably be in excruciating, constant pain..It's not even almost bone on bone..so don't worry..Probably just another manifestation of TMS.. Take care, Karen |
