I can feel the tension starting already. One sister says we need to spend Thanksgiving at her house - 150 miles away. Another sister says we must spend Christmas at her house - 200 miles away. I just want to stay home at MY house with MY family!

Thanks to all my reading about TMS, I am now able to identify my feelings right away and deal with them immediately.

Is anyone else getting ready for the holidays and accompanying tension?

Like every year, I try to avoid it until it forcefully hits me and makes me respond lol

I rarely have a big Christmas it usually means going 50km to my 100 year old grandmas retirement village(which I don't consider to be fun)

Because I'm not religious I resent it from that point of view :) plus the fact that it is all marketing propaganda these days... and I usually visit my family members anyway, so I don't need Christmas to make me do it :)

well, you did ask :)
