Wow, this is an old thread, but in response - yes, I've experienced LOTS of new joint popping/cracking in connection (I believe) with TMS. It's occurred in my knees, ankles, and wrists.

Anyone else experience joint cracking/popping as part of TMS?

The timing/circumstances of mine often seems very random. Sometimes it's right after activity, but frequently it happens when I've been relatively inactive. At times it occurs in a spot where I'm also experiencing pain, but in many cases there's just cracking - no pain.

I'm convinced that it's TMS. Partly because of the randomness, but also because it seems less likely to occur when I'm not focusing on it. Dr. Sarno tells us to try hard not to pay attention to our pain - this seems to apply to joint cracking as well (or at least in my case).
