Thanks so much for this information! --- I did just look at their website and their schedule says The Leonard Lopate show is at 12 noon (I assume this is Eastern Standard). You can hear this station over the net.
The link is http://www.wnyc.org/. The show starts at noon, Eastern time but is 2 hours long with three segments and Sarno coming on the last one, which should indeed be 1:20 PM Eastern time and 10:20 A.M. Pacific time.
I was tuned in but got called into a meeting when they took the break halfway through. Can anyone tell me what was discussed? Also what was Sarno's agreement/disagreement with the relaxation response guy?
They seemed to agree on the subjects of pain meds, possible multiple causes of various maladies (can be psychosomatic or really physical), the involvement of conscious stressors (& others I don't recall). Disagreement seemed to be the relaxation response doctor not wanting to consider the unconscious, repressed stuff.
