I posted a few weeks ago about fixing some hip and knee pain by adjusting my bike's seat height. Well I've been having some lingering knee pain so I've come to the conclusion that my brain has grabbed an opportunity to bring on TMS in that knee (no good reason for it to be continuing).

I was on a ride last night and had some nagging pain. I was pissed off at my brain and told it to STOP IT--THIS IS JUST TMS. Immediately the pain shifted to my OTHER KNEE! I just laughed. Either my brain has a sense of humour (so to speak) or it was a last ditch effort to convince me there's something wrong with me.

Now that I know know what the gig is, the pain is gone. I just found the whole thing incredibly amusing. And it's amazing the tenacity of TMS. Lucky that I know what to look for so it doesn't stay.
