I have observed that I can reproduce my sciatic pain just be presssing hardly on different places in my leg. For example if I press in my buttock or the thigh. Which tms mechanism may explain a pain that arises when applying pressure ?

Dr Sarno does not talk much about that kind of pain.

Palpatations are part of Dr. Sarno's physical exam and a factor in the TMS diagnosis. Even if you have no pain in a certain area, when pressure is applied there may be pain. The mechanism is exactly the same, it's just that the intensity is lower.
