Hi everyone,
I'm curious if anyone knows of what Sarno describes as an 'analytically, dynamically trained and capable psychotherapist' based in Southern California (Los Angeles or otherwise). Heck, even Northern California leads would be great.
I'm reading Sarno's latest book and the chapter on treatment describes the approach of Sarno's colleague, psychologist Arlene Feinblatt, PhD in New York. Dr. Feinblatt's prescriptions for psychosomatic treatment resonate heavily, yet I'm 3,000 miles away from her...
Any help would be appreciated.

There is an psychotherapist in LA who Dr. David Schechter refers his TMS patients to. His name is Don Dubin. He also does phone consultations and has TMS clients all over the world whom he talks with on the phone. He had TMS himself and has fully recovered. He has a high success rate with his clients. He can be reached at: 323 651 4390.
He is not cheap though. The cost is $125 per session.
It is not uncommon for psychotherapist to do their consultations by phone. |

Hi TOSPATIENT,
I've worked with Don Dubin, by phone and also in person. He knows his TMS stuff. He has met with Sarno in New York himself.
Another site that has much TMS info is www.tarpityoga.com
The specific page for California is: http://www.tarpityoga.com/directory.html#CA
Good luck, tt |

Allan,
It's not clear who you were referring your question about an update to, me, or someone else? Could you please clarify?
