guys
TMS therapy is begining to work very well on my neck !
2 other days pain free with 80% motion range !
everything started to really work the morning I woke up not having 0.000001 % doubt in my mind.... its really the key. I cannot believe I did endure such pain soo long just because I was not able to fully surrender....
Amazing stuff...

Joela,
I started to work on my tms 3 months ago...
In my case the progress were not linear but came in steps with no improvement in between....
My tinnitus is not gone .... but its my next step.
as the muscle are relasing tension, my neck is now cracking and popping as the vertebra are trying to get back in to place... After 8 months of continuous lateral neck spasm, it kind of a weird feeling (contrary to most people on this forum, I do believe in spinal misalignment but I am convinced they are induced by muscle spasms, so TMS work is still the key)... but at least the acute pain is gone. I am so glad you're doing better. I do go to the chiropractor for my neck (although not recommeded by Sarno) but I have cut it back to 2 times per month instaead of every week. My concentration is on the ringing because I have had it over a year and want it gone! Keep working hard and as a fellow neck sufferer, I'm thrilled yours is better!

No offense, but this indicates you have not accepted TMS.
Step 1: Repudiate the structual diagnosis.
Step 2: Stop all physical treatments.
"Cutting back" is not enough. It means you still have belief that chiropractic treatment is effective.
As a long-term chiropractic patient I know exactly what you are going through. If you want to recover from TMS you must absolutely believe that chiropractic treatment offers nothing but a placebo effect and you must stop. |

Thank you Dave! I do enjoy my messages every week. Is that considered a placebo? |

I do fully agree with Dave in that respect ...
While I do believe that spinal misalignment can create symtoms, I am 100% sure that these misalignment are in most (more than 90%) case due to muscle tension first and not just 'subluxation out of the blue' (Remember that the Spine evolved through millions of years to fit hard work and extreme use, do not forget that back problems are a recent epidemic in human history). So Chiro will not do any long term benefit because they wont remove IN ANY WAY the cause of your spinal misalignment. Moreover, I firmly believe it can be dangerous to manipulate the spine when there is underlying muscle spasms that are TMS induced... These guys just don't know what they are doing ...
Osteopaths are far more knowledgable but still, they do not work on the mindbody component that is crucial to recovery.
In that respect I suggest you continue working on your TMS and abandon ANY FORM of physical therapy. Without taking TMS as a RELIGION that explains everything, I do believe it is a far more safe and efective way to get things back into place.

A massage for the sole purpose of relaxation is fine.
However if you are going with the mindset that the massage will relieve your pain, then it is inconsistent with TMS because you must accept that the symptoms are psychogenic. |
