Hello,

Has anyone thought of setting up i group meetings in the local area where people could talk to other people about there TMS symtoms and provide help for each other. I know we alraedy have this forum, but maybe it would be a good idea to talk to fellow TMS sufferers in person.

For example the people living in NJ and NY could form joint a TMS meeting.

Dare a "goodist" to be contrary but I think a room full of people in chronic pain would merely end up focusing on symptoms. It's just human nature. That is the opposite of what we all want. If what we have is TMS, our own minds is where we should be looking.

The Boston folks did a cookout last summer. About 8 of us got together. It was a great gathering. I've suggested having TMS meetings too but got mixed responses.

Whoa, my bad. I posted about my own issues with groups without lokking at Geeta's. Sorry. Hey, Alma what group in Boston? My Doc is on the northshore and says he'll facilitate a support group.
