I think I have TMS on the run, and boy is it running! Over the past few days I have developed the following symptoms: lump in throat, "burnt" feeling on tongue and tingly scalp sensations.

I'm trying very hard to ignore all of this, and being that what I just described is not transient, but rather the opposite, it's quite difficult. But I'm taking this as a good sign.

Also, I've noticed I'm starting to feel more emotion in my dreams for whatever that's worth.

Oh yes, the low libido; I came to the realization this afternoon that obsessing about it is just giving into the TMS, because after all, it is a symptom. So I'm ignoring that now too.

Oiy.

"TMS can manifest itself in a variety of locations and it tends to move around, particularly if something is being done to combat the disorder. Patients often report pain in a new location as the old one gets better. It is as though the brain is unwilling to give up this convenient strategy for diverting attention away from the realm of the emotions. It is, therefore, particularly important for the patient to know where all the possible locations of pain are." ("Healing Back Pain." Page 11)

Seth,

I remember the period of emotional dreams that I went through.

You are certainly well on the way to recovery.

Keep working on the psychological. You're obviously making some level of consciousness pretty nervous.
