Hi Everybody,

after reading many many posts from people looking for a TMS Doc and not finding one it occurred to me that there are other medical professionals that may be more available to help.

Some psychiatrists take an interest in the field of psychosomatic medicine, Freud himself writing about hysterical paralysis/numbness in many of his patients.

I've seen a psychiatrist who trained in this field and there are many others. I'm not sure about the best way to do this, doing internet searches to find a doctor, and if they are not close then enquiring about colleagues who are closer. For the Canadians on the site, psychiatry is covered under medicare, and for Americans, it may be more likely to be covered than travelling and seeing a TMS Doc.

Good health to everybody,

Amelia
