Hi
Just when you think you have it licked, back come those TMS demons.
In my case I was driving almost pain free for a couple of weeks and heard on the radio of someone winning an RSI case in court against their employer. Then, bang, doubting TMS, next day RSI was back with a vengeance. I just wish I could stop those triggers for TMS to creep back in.
In my case I believe it is to do with my internal self anger and rage. Disliking myself about obsessing about my health, and my thoughts, feeling like I should be able to control these feelings, after over 12 months of discovering Sarno.
Anyone discovered how to reprogram their brain? This seems to be a very long road?
I know I need to do more self help and reading but I find it difficult to keep reminding myself about TMS.
Alan.

Here is my take on this:
It seems to me that somewhere inside you there are still doubts about the TMS diagnosis. When you heard the news report, which re-inforced the idea of over use as they cause of pain, and thus it is a physical problem, something inside of you went off and the pain returned. |
