I went to a new oral surgeon for my daughter (the first told us that she had a similar face to Jay Leno, and we could fix her jaw pain by breaking her jaw and rearranging her face.) and without me telling the new Dr. a thing about what the original dr. said, he started to talk about how beautiful my daughters face is and how he would never change it, and that the pain in her jaw was something that absolutly shouldn't be delt with using surgery.
I knew that...but the nerve of the first one scaring a 16 year old like that.
I am thinking of stopping the credit card payment to the original one!
He didn't act like a proffesional...why should he be paid like one!
I will speak to Dr Sarno after the 18th about the whole thing.
Funny...her jaw stopped hurting after the fear the first dr put into her, and after the in depth explanation about Sarno from me. Plus she has seen me do well all these years.
So glad to hear you got a second opinion from a "professional" who has some manners. That other nit wit should not be practicing medicine. I would cancel the credit card payment too.
Isn't it funny how the mind is so powerful (i.e. your daughter's jaw stopped hurting)? She will get through this and she'll get through it just fine without the help of that knife happy guy you took her to first.
i am now 20 years old...when i was 17 i had oral surgery. they broke my lower jaw and rewired it shut....i did it for cosmetic reasons because of the "jay leno" look but i am so glad i did it...the doctor told me that if i didnt do it that it might cause athritis in my jaw... either way i am very glad i did it i was not on any pain killers i was in and out of the hospital but the worst part was being wired shut for 1 month...lost a lot of weight..good thing...gained itall back bad thing haha hope this helps
