When doctor Sarno said our rage and anger is what caused tms, isn't that the opposite of "at peace and relaxed"?
When he said one who is a perfectionist, rushing, goodist, people pleasing... tend to get tms, is that the opposite of "easy going"?

Posted - 04/07/2013 : 15:39:21 Ace's keys were the cornerstone of my healing. I did employ some things like EFT that sped things up a bit and allowed me to deal with some difficult issues. But, Ace is right. Ultimately, you will, in the process of healing, become more relaxed, less driven, and confident. Dr. Sarno may not have put it in these words, but I think that is one of the things he had in mind. |

Posted - 04/07/2013 : 15:11:00 For better or worse, Dr. Sarno's theories are not, and have not been since I have been here, the primary focus of this forum. Perhaps in earlier times they were. There is a divergence of views and lots of debate as to the best path. |

Posted - 04/07/2013 : 15:02:15 I don't know Jim if your new to this forum. I have stated before that I do not agree fully with dr sarnos theory. He did lead me on the right track however. Believe it or not, it really is ultimately about being more easy going and that's a lot harder than you think. That is how i was cured. It takes a lot of practice. If its easy to attain this for you than you haven't done it right. |

So, does that mean one has to see a shrink? Is that what you mean Jim D.
I will say that I think what ACE1's keys to healing is GREAT!
Not everyone is going to fit the analogy Dr. Sarno spoke about..

I would definitely add one that mentions that you are at peace or relaxed as the lack of this is what causes tms. Also maybe add one that says you forgive and you are easy going. Don't have too many as then the effect is spaced out instead of directed where you need it the most.

Posted - 04/06/2013 : 18:54:24 Thanks Eric!
I was thinking of recording this on my pro tools rig and playing it back at night while I sleep...
I just didn't know if it was too much about health or maybe way too long for the brain to compute it...
Thanks again!
