I do have a shoulder and neck stiffness and tension,
without any cause, it's just coming and going. Sometimes, suddenly,
I can start feel and hear cracking/clicking in my shoulders, elbows
and ears. But most bothering thing is my mouth. I can start to feel
tension somewhere between my jaws along neck and even tongue, so I have to release it by opening a jaw or sometimes is enough by moving my head down. Recently it's attacking me every single day for a couple of hours...
My doctor opinion is DDD in my neck...

Have you ever heard about these symptoms?

 Thanks,
 Julia

I also found I had a very tight jaw. Quite frequently during the day I would notice that I was holding it very tense and would try to relax it, but it would keep coming back. I would wake up in the morning with my jaw very tight.

Your symptoms do sound very TMS-like. I know Sarno mainly talks about pain, but there are others here who have had more tension / stiffness than pain and I think it is the same thing.
