 Looking for TMS Therapist that takes Medicare

Hi folks. I'm back after years on and off here. I looked at the TMS therapist list in NY and nobody takes Medicare. I know people have to make a living but I would think that they understand that as a population, many of us are too troubled to work and don't have the money to pay hundreds of dollars for a session. It's not like they don't get paid by Medicare...they do but not quite as much as privately. If anyone knows of a TMS therapist that does accept Medicare, please let me know. Thanks so much.

Hi Susan - maybe there are counsellors on skype that take Medicare?

Thanks guys! I'll check into them. Skype is OK but to me, there's nothing like face to face. I have done telephone sessions with the therapist I see now but even that isn't as good as being in the same room. However, it may be better than nothing so I would consider it.

I would be really careful with some of these TMS coaches. Some seem to offer one-size-fits all advice that can be misleading and ultimately a real disservice.
